dearies,
december 23, 2025 is a BIG milestone for my little business: i am celebrating a decade of darling dearie slow-fashion, oddments and new modern heirlooms!
during the past ten years i've improved my sewing skills, moved family and business to the sonoran desert, participated in local markets with my pop-up shop under a pretty pink tent, and delved even further into the textile arts. i've grown professionally and personally. along the way i've made wonderful friendships both on and offline - it's been an unbelievable ride! it is also necessary for me to thank each and every one of you for your encouragement, inspiration and support throughout the last decade. thank you from the bottom of my heart!
this past may through november, my additional creative energy has been happily consumed with a very special textile undertaking:

lastly, beginning october 2025, eagle-eyed dearies may have noticed my crown cipher has begun transitioning across my website and social media accounts, new product tags and labels. aesthetically, it is the same crown however it is just done in a different style. swapping out my crown cipher has been something i have wanted to do for a few years now. there just never felt like an ideal time to do it. yet, celebrating a decade with an updated, more elegant cipher, feels like the perfect way to start the process.
