#darlingdearie
dearies,
busy times in the dearie household this month!
to begin, i have decided to open an instagram account and i cordially invite you to follow me by clicking here.
i'll be honest: the instagram learning curve has been steep, especially when you are getting long-in-the-tooth like yours truly and technology is involved! fortunately, a special dearie has been offering valuable guidance, allowing me to navigate the instagram labyrinth quicker than i would have without her kind assistance. i'm learning the fine art of hashtags, tagging, reciprocal comments, and following. (if you choose to follow me, and i hope you do, i'll most certainly return the favor!) and don't forget, if you post a picture of yourself on instagram in your darling dearie dress, flag pants or oddments, please tag me @darling_dearie and use the hashtag #darlingdearie. thank you most sincerely in advance!
being a proud multi-tasker, i've also managed to complete a lovely gateway dress "gin martini, please" and a super mash-up dress i've named "folkloric." didn't they turn out spectacularly? both are available on my website!
truthfully, i'd hoard these two frocks for myself in a heartbeat, but when i mentioned my inclination to mr. dearie, he apprised that was not an option and shook me from my reverie...
what else have i ticked off the september to-do list? you'll remember i introduced my oddments accessory line near the beginning of the month, the perfect complement to my dresses, pants and your own curated closet. last week i received a small yet much awaited delivery that now allows me to offer my oddment earrings to you in either a pierced or clip-on style. when placing your order, just mention in the notes box at checkout that you need them converted to a clip-on. rest assured, they will still dangle! if you are sending any of my collection as a gift, there is a gift message option during check-out which shall be handwritten and included on a complimentary darling dearie letterpress gift card.
i just love options, don't you?
two weeks ago, mr. dearie and i traveled east through the spectacular columbia gorge to see tears for fears in concert at the beautiful maryhill winery amphitheater. (two snaps from the night on my instagram page!) this upcoming weekend we return to revolution hall where squeeze performs. hope to see you there!
until my next missive…
xo
